हरिश्चंद्र गड याचे सर्वांत मोठे आकर्षण म्हणजे येथील कोकणकडा. ३००० फुटांपेक्षाही उंच असा हा कडा महाराष्ट्रातील सर्वांत उंच कडा आहे. हा कडा रोमन लिपीतील यू ‘U’ या अक्षराच्या आकाराचा आहे. हा इतर कड्यांसारखा ९० अंशात नसून बाह्य गोल आकाराचा आहे. समोरून बघितला तर नागाच्या फण्यासारखा दिसतो.
Kokanada
The biggest attraction of Harishchandra Gad is Kokanada. It is the tallest edge in Maharashtra. This verge is the shape of the letter ‘U’ in Roman script. It is not in the same 90 degrees as the other rings but has an outer round shape. Looking from the front, it looks like a snake’s snare.
